Coverage intent
A fungi or bacteria exclusion limits coverage for loss, injury, damage, cleanup, or expense connected to mold, fungi, bacteria, spores, or related contaminants.
Coverage impact
The wording matters across property and liability products because mold and microbial contamination can overlap water damage, construction defect, habitational, and premises claims.
